Thank you.
Thank you for choosing how to spend your time wisely and being deliberate about what you consume, when, and how.
I’m not saying this as a way to "be “depreciative” about my own work. Every time I write one of these daily reflections (or any other post), I give my best, hoping it adds value and drives us closer to Métis.
However, I know everyone’s time is finite. And if it’s true that there’s a rush of dopamine when I look at my stats and see a new subscriber or a post with a bunch of views, throughout this challenge I realized that was feeding my ego more than my wisdom.
Not only that, but writing is an act of service to both myself and others. Every time I publish something I do it so I can learn more about myself, exploring my own thinking, and also provide some kind of idea that I believe helps people live better.
But at the end of the day, each one of you, choosing which newsletters to read or not read, knows, better than anyone, whose voices you want to hear on that day.
I thank you for all the times you chose to hear my voice, and also all the other times when you don’t and chose what you think it’s best. Because being your best version is the way to a Modern Golden Age.
It takes a lot of courage to accept our own ego and way more to share it with others!
Thank you very much for trusting us with your deep reflections🙏😊
