Hi friends, I hope you’re well.
I know, it’s been a while since I last posted an episode of the podcast but that’s the advantage of doing it when I feel like it, with people I love.
I know that “to grow the podcast”, for the sake of consistency, I should focus on publishing on a given day, every week, etc. But, to be honest, my relationship with the podcast is a very emotional one. This was one of my favorite conversations on the show. So, I wanted to post it when I felt like it made sense. And that is today!
Before we get into that though, here are a few more thoughts.
For some reason, I’ve been feeling some “creative constipation”.
In the last few weeks, I’ve been journaling a lot about myself, my mission, religion, my relationship with God, and the people around me…And I guess my creative muscle has been working in that area and not so much in the “publishing sphere” of things.
Anyway, starting December, 1st, that has to change since I’m embarking on a different journey.
I’ll be part of a group of talented people that will write a small piece every day, for 100 days. If you want to follow them, do it here.
Now, onto the show.
Bryan Kam
Bryan was a dream guest.
I met him at one of the first Interintellect salons I went to, in which the topic was “truth”. Everyone there was amazing but I went there without a clue about how it worked and with zero preparation to discuss such an important topic as this one. So, I asked questions. Beginner questions, of course.
Whereas a lot of people could just ignore them or make fun of them, since they were so “low-level”, Bryan took each one of them seriously. That attitude really impressed me.
Because of that, I had to have him on the show. He’s a writer, researcher, philosopher, and a very thoughtful individual.
We talked about music, writing, jazz, conversation, thinking, and much more. It is one of the longest conversations on the show, but I promise you, is worth it.
Here are the timestamps for this episode:
Follow Bryan! 👋
You can follow him on Twitter, and on his website and, you should 100% listen to his podcast here.
That’s it.
Thank you so much for following what I’m building.
I’m very bullish about the future and about what I want to bring to Métis as an internet Oasis.
I’ll speak to you soon!
